Description:

The Butterfly Valve is used to shut off air, gases, water, fluids; powdery and granular agents. They are 100 % tight in closed position, have little installation length, streamlined version of the disk preventing turbulences and are service free. The maximum of stability also for rough operating conditions is given by the square connection between shafts and valve disk. Allowable working pressures are given in the table. The Butterfly Valve is impervious for vacuum up to 0,2 bar.

Mounting:

The fitting of the Butterfly Valves between flanges with DIN-dimensions is possible. In case of low pressures only, the valves may be fixed to the small flange, thus saving approx. 90 % of weigth and expenses for flanges and screws. Blank flange-coupling disks according to DIN 2642 may be used as small flanges (see leaflet Page 2).

Service:

The Butterfly Valves is services-free. In case of pneumatic actuation, the compressed air shall be dry, clean and slightly oiled. We recommend to place a service unit before the solenoid valve. It shall be lubricated with a good hydraulic oil of 2,5 to 4 degrees Engler (f.i. Shell Tellus 23 or 29). There are available special service instructions for electric actuation.

Type, nominal width, design of seat, shaft, disk bearing and actuation, small flang boring, agent, pressure of agent, temperature, granulation, compressed air pressure.
